Building and Site Information
Interested in knowing what buildings and sites are currently available in central Missouri? Let our economic development staff assist you with getting the information you are looking for - all with confidentiality. Also available are community profiles, demographics, and labor unemployment rates. We'll also arrange for an on-site visit once you are ready to meet with local economic developers and tour the community.
The Rural Development Link Deposit Program, offered through Missouri Electric Cooperatives, is available as a financial incentive to expand or relocate in Missouri. The program is designed to reduce the interest rate businesses pay on bank-approved loans. Electric cooperatives effectively "buy down" rates on these loans by placing a long-term deposit with the lender equal to the loan amount. As a result, companies can borrow up to $750,000 for five years and pay no more than 7% interest.
This program can save your company thousands of dollars over the full term of the loan and provide you with a better cash flow.
Monies can be used:
To qualify, you must be planning a manufacturing, distribution, assembly or warehousing operation, provide 20% equity in the total project cost, and must purchase your electrical energy from one of Missouri's electric cooperatives.
