Central Electric Power Cooperative provides a number of services to improve the quality of life for those who live, work and play in central Missouri. Programs include:

Green Tree Partnership Program: Each year, Central Electric provides grants of up to $500 to qualifying community organizations, for the planting of trees. Projects funded include trees planted along streets, in downtowns, parks, courthouse yards, school grounds, and historic sites. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains available.  All approved projects must be completed by December 31 of the grant year.  If you would like an application, contact Nancy Gibler.

Energy Education Program: Energy safety and the wise use of electricity are taught to school children and community organizations. For more information on Central’s award-winning Energy Education program, contact Keith Mueller or phone Central Electric.

Scholarship to Linn State Technical College: Each year, a student is selected to receive a $1000 scholarship to attend Linn State Technical College, located in Linn, Missouri. To receive more information on the scholarship, contact Nancy Gibler.
